If you don't ride with your seat pushed all the way back on the post, this tiny little clamp will not be wide enough to hold the rails. Mine broke. It's plastic and weak and too narrow. The concept is good, but you might be left with a pack that connects to nothing and be out of luck. There's probably a better product than this. If you have better luck than me your return window will not expire when you discover the problem.

It feels a little chintzy, but does what I need it to, namely keeping my ladders from sliding off the rack. I definitely wouldn't be using this without straps for anything at all, and given the flimsy plastic even including the heavy duty load bar adapters seems sorta silly. Can't say I have much faith in these to last very long. But on the positive, they do cost about half what Thule get for their load stabilizers. Not a bad deal, but not a great one.

Come on, Amazon...that's just shady. Advertising something as a Yakima to sell more. This is a ProRack brand, not Yakima brand.

Decent rack, though. The screw in hitch bolt keeps it tight, but it precludes using a hitch lock or quick removal, almost a semi-permanent installation. Sturdily constructed, and even though the tie downs are velcro they keep it tight. The added security straps keep it as snug as you want. Also, this rack doesn't seem to bounce around as much as other hitch racks I've seen in this price range.

But seriously Amazon, get with the program and quit lying in your product descriptions. You're better than that.

Filzer dZ4L-C Cycling Computer Review

I installed this version of the Filzer cycling computer on my vintage ten-speed as I wanted to know what my cadence was. The installation is easy enough however attaching certain components with only cable ties is not too secure and I have used black electrical tape to hold, for instance, the cadence magnet and also to hold the wiring in place. On at least one ocassion the speed and cadence pickups had to be re-positioned as they had moved and were not functioning properly. Sometimes the display of the cadence will manifest a number up in the hundreds but then settle down to a more reasonable reading.
There is a scan feature that scrolls through the three screens (although I would like to turn off this feature when I figure out how to do so) I wanted the wired version as I have heard that strobe LED lights can interfere with the wireless versions.

For me it is okay and I would recommend this product for those who are on a tight budget, like myself.

Academy has produced a winner if you're a fan of ancient warships. Historical accuracy aside this kit is easy to build and fun to paint. The plastic is rather soft for liquid glue and can melt quickly if you apply to much. So be careful when attaching the oars. The sails are hard plastic and easy to install. There are no decals provided so breakout the paint bottles for more fun. The base is very attractive and adds to the look. Overall a great kit to build and add to your collection.
