I went to a couple of bicycle shops asking for "barrel adjusters" in order to replace the bent/rusty ones on my cross brake levers, as well as the derailleur adjusters on the downtube. Asking for "barrel adjusters" only turned up the larger diameter adjusters you find on regular mountain-bike type brakes. I SHOULD have been asking for derailleur adjusters, which is what this product is; they're the exact same size as what you see on your rear derailleur. They were perfect for the adjusters on the downtube, but I had to cut them down a bit for use with the cross brakes.
