Ritchey Tom Slick Comp Tire 26" x 1.4" Comp, Wire Blackwall Review

I Had My Doubts, especially since the description does not have PSI RATINGS!!! I had to look on the reviews and bike forums to get more info. I bought the Slick 1.4 for my Cannondale Chase 3 and It is an Awesome tire!!! I wouldnt say I go much faster in these as I Maxed out my speed at 24mph with my old Kenda K-Rads which had a max psi rating of 80 and a consistent speed of 18-20mph. The Main difference here is Im able to consistently maintain a higher speed of 22mph and Above on the Slicks, as oppose to my Kendas which I can only do in Burst.

I had worn the original one out and needed a replacement. This one fit the bill exactly.

FWIW - I was a bit confused on the color - I thought my original was gray (it was actually silver), so I chose this Ice Grey one. Actually the color is very close to black. This isn't a problem, but it did cost me a little more than the silver one would have.

SKS Cagebox Storage Container Review

Ive tried several solutions to keeping my tools, etc. in my bottle cage. Most have trouble keeping their lids on during aggressive trail riding. This SKS Cagebox is good. The lid stays on well and there's a lot of space in the bottle. I carry an inner tube, a patch kit, an inflator, two CO2 cartridges, a derailleur hanger, a and multitool; there's space for all that with some to spare. I don't like the orange lid, but that's vanity.
I don't like to carry my stuff in my pack because it adds extra weight between me and my saddle. I just stuff the Cagebox and leave it on the bike. It's always there when I need it. I put a toe-clip strap around the cage to keep the Cagebox secure.

SIGMA ILLUX LED Front Light Review

Well, perhaps you get what you pay for. I can say that in the dark, I can see my front tire really well! The light on this is fairly dim, it floods about 10 feet in a semi-circle in front of you. It is my first bike light so I can't compare to others, but I'm going to need another front light with a longer beam in order to properly see the road in front of me.

The mounting is alright, but it's twist on/off feature is almost as disappointing as the lack of power on the light. It rotates on/off but doesn't really snap/clip into place, and a slight sideways bump can knock it off easily. I'm using a Velcro strap to make sure it doesn't come off from any accidental bumps.
