This plug-in chain fits into the side of the Defender RL Frame Lock (sold separately). With this additional plug-in chain, you loop the chain around the bicycle frame itself and through the bike rack. Then plug the end of the chain into the Defender frame lock, and with a turn of the key the full locking system is engaged. Now the bike cannot be ridden away or carried away.

Well made and easy to use, but the chain is disconcertingly thinner than most other squared bike chain locks here in New York City. Would it really be that much easier to break? I have no idea, but I am a little nervous using this as my only lock when everyone else has a bigger one. It would be great to have a similar product with a thicker chain!
