After a lot of research, I decided to replace badly worn tires with Nobby Nics on a used Cannondale Super V500 I picked from a friend about a year ago. Since I mostly ride on very rocky single track trails and don't like flats, I paired my Nobby Nics with slime self healing tubes. These tires are extremely durable and I haven't ever had a flat or puncture in 9 months of riding once or twice a week at about 15 miles per outing.
