This is a decent bell, but not very loud.

When installed, the stem is very close to the handle bar. Therefore, in order to get the bell to ring, you have to bend the spring trigger along the side in order to make contact with the bell when released. You cannot depress the ringer straight down and expect the trigger to strike the bell.

In addition, since you must depress the ringer such a way, it will rub against the powder coat finish on your handlebars. As a result, I had to put down a piece of blue tape on the handle bar to protect it.
