I ordered these based on a single positive review and the price. These were to serve as pedals for my daughter's bike (we live in New York City and need every bit of space we can get). Hence, having a pedal that has a smooth folding mechanism was critical (she is 10 years-old).

On their arrival, I found one seemed to have a fairly smooth mechanism, but the other jammed roughly 80% out of the times I tried to open and close it. I put some oil in the sliders hoping that would resolve the issue, and it did - but only temporarily. A few more test tries proved the pedal to be of faulty construction. It consistently jammed, so much so that it required considerable strength to work the pedal back in and out. Slight adjustment on the squeeze mechanism was not the issue - craftsmanship was.

Returned for a refund - not willing to try again with this company. These should have been checked thoroughly for functionality before being shipped out.
