I purchased these to relace my mountain bke rims after crashing. The ERD was very similar to my original rims, so relacing was a simple matter of placing the rims side by side and switching spokes one at a time. For a guide on wheelbuilding search the Internet for Sheldon Brown.The only downside is that the tires are harder to get on and off compared to the old rims. It has to do with the profile of the rim and the narrowness of the well in the center of the rim. It is imperative that the tire bead sits in this well as the opposite site of the tire is removed - but thats just good tire changing technique anyway.
Overall, the rims appear to be strong and well made and I've had no issues yet!
