It's probably my fault, but it seems I never could get either BB5 or BB7 disc brakes properly adjusted. They were always too loose or too tight, and they were never really quiet. They DID stop you though.

This brake stops you good too, but it's a snap to adjust, and it's super quiet. Good looking too. Bolts right on to newer frames and forks, but if you have an older bike, you may have to get a special mounting bracket. Be sure to research that before buying. Hayes does make these.
