I bought one of these since it was cheap and also bough a couple of Incedibells. Since I was putting this on my mountain bike and would hardly ever use it, it serves its purpose. However for my road bike I used the Incedibell. It cost more but had a better installation setup and sounded clearer.

It did not come in the box pictured. I just got a bag of twenty cartridges in a small shipping box. It would be nice to have the box opposed to a bag, but I still gave 5 stars because I did receive all of the cartridges. So far they work great, and that's what matters most. Overall, it's a good buy as long as it stays well under $40.

Overall i am very pleased with the bike. Unfortunately the box mine came in was very beat up which caused significant scratches on the frame of the bike and it came with no instructions for assembly. Most likely they escaped through holes in the box during shipping. Once assembled the bike performs very well and I am pleased. If the box had not been damaged I would have given five stars but I would recommend this product as it is very comfortable to ride off road.

The only tiny negative is the size of the back pocket, it has room for only 1 gel shot or a small key. But not a problem is for have a saddle bag on your bike.

The inner bra is tight and provides great support.

Jagwire Ripcord DIY MTB Derailleur Kit, Black Carbon Review

I needed to replace the stock cable and housing after swapping to some new bars and a new stem on my MTB. The guys that rigged my bike when new really didn't allow much room for change - I think it was a really poor job actually but regardless, I needed to put new cables and housings on. I selected Jagwire Ripcord cause it was a step up over the stock stuff, and I had used lots of other Jagwire product in the past.

The cabling was very straight forward, easy even. The Ripcord housing is a pleasure to work with being easy to trim, meaning it cuts very clean leaving no "edges" and the ends clean up nice for the cable. The cable is teflon coated which really showed up in smoother shifts. I thought it would be better for corrosion resistance and it may but the smoothness was a nice added bonus. Jagwire provides a generous assortment of cable ends, really nice plastic liner and cable/ferrules for use with the liner plus a few options in rubber cable boots.

Very good stuff and just about all I plan to use in any future cabling upgrades. You should know that there are a couple of different versions of packaging for the DIY Derailleur kit. The older version only has 1800' of housing total while the newer version has 2300' to better accommodate newer installs where full housing is used instead of the partial housing and liner. The packaging as shown in the pic on amazon is the new one, the older is very different and in more of a blister package. Choose accordingly. Soon, Jagwire says, the older stuff will be out of the system fully replaced by the new but there is some old out there. Oh, and the decal they provide is nice too.

So the product arrived quickly, was in great shape, and went onto my car perfectly fine. My only issue is that it's very, very large...it's listed at 8x8", but I guess I wasn't exactly thinking exactly how big this decal was.
