Tacx Lumos Bicycle Light Review

These lights are an ingenious invention, but poorly implemented. Clever design, maybe, but shoddy materials and fragile construction meant that I destroyed two different pairs of these in a short period of time. They are great safety lights; they show others where you are, and give a cursory idea of what's in front of you at night. I bumped one leaning my bike on a wall, and the plastic lens & housing fell off. Another failed because the button assembly collapsed when I pressed to turn the light off. More frustrating, though, was that the in-bar mounts for the lights were nearly impossible to get out when I decided to toss these lights for a traditional top-bar mounted light.
