Topeak's Ratchet Rocket Lite is probably the most compact miniature socket wrench, hex bit bike tool available. This is simply a downsized version of Topeaks other Ratchet Rocket offerings due to the fact the chain link tool is not included. The wrench and bits come housed in a nice small nylon pouch. Most people will just slip this in a seat bag although an attached belt loop allows it to be worn on the body. Nine hex bits are included, size 2 through 8, along with torx and philips head bits. The small socket wrench is nicely made with forward and reverse action and also features a thumbwheel to speed up turning. A bit can also be placed in the end of the handle to allow use in tight spots. While perhaps not in the SnapOn Tool league, the wrench appears to be well constructed with a solid ratcheting action. It measures all of 3 5/8" long. It easily and quickly loosened and tightened brake, bottle, headset, stem, rack and seat bolts. However, if you get really heavy handed with this you may risk breakage. My one main concern was utilizing it with the largest 8mm bit, this being used commonly on a crank bolt. This is the one place you would almost surely crack this wrench should you try to fully torque up a crank bolt. You could use it in an emergency to frequently snug one up to get home. Too bad Topeak didn't include a max torque spec for using this tool.
In conclusion, this is one outstanding tool kit when used sensibly. In fact I immediately ditched my other multitools and purchased two more as gifts for fellow cyclists.
