I purchase this helmet after my Bell Helmet SOLAR model broke the head-strap from many good years of use, it lasted me 6 years. So I decided I should upgrade to a better helmet but did not want to fork over 100 plus dollars on a helmet. This fits the bill both literally and physically. The size I purchase is a Medium which fits my head perfect, the Bell Solar helmet was a universal fit so I relied on the strap to keep it steady on my head. I can feel the light weight difference compare to the more entry level Bell Solar. The second thing I notice is the wind running thru my hair, since it has bigger vents it feels like you are wearing nothing at all which is good for summer but winter I wear a wool hat under to keep warm. I can greatly recommend this helmet as a replacement and upgrade, is worth the money just make sure you get the correct size for your head since it is not universal.
