I have a T-Rax 4-Bike Rack for a 1 1/4" hitch receiver. I started using the rack on a 2" hitch receiver and was disappointed to find that the threads would not reach the bolt with a 1 1/4" to 2" adapter installed so I replaced it with a regular bolt. Eventually I striped the bolt and nut and decided to give this a try. It worked perfectly. The threads are long so this will work on a 1 1/4" or 2" receiver.
