Pearl Izumi Women's Elite Intercool Tri Race Short, Pink Punch Pinstripe, Medium Review

I was looking for a bike short that wasn't long or too short. The length is perfect, 6". The padding is light so it doesn't get hung up on the seat when mountain biking technical trails. The back of the short rises a little higher than the front. The colors and graphics were as shown in the pic. Sizing was a little on the smaller size. Depending on the manufacturer I wear XS or S. I'm 5'4" and about 117 lbs. The small fit well.

I thought this was going to be a helpful gift to my sister-in-law, a big skier. It was not quite what I imagined, though that is more my fault than anyone else's. She said she liked it alot but you may have to keep in mind that this requires a "coordinated look," something my sister's style sense doesn't adhere to. I was one of the last in my riding group to go with Bibs instead of shorts/long tights, and I am REALLY glad I finally made the switch! I have been really impressed with all the Pearl Izumi stuff I own, and these are no exception. Very good workmanship in the seams and overall fit feels really nice. The sizing chart is accurate. No more worrying about my jersey pulling up in the back and having exposed skin... I always stay nice and covered up with these on, even if I wear one of my cheap-o jerseys that don't fit me right. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price IMHO. I have also worn these with long tights over them (during winter) and the double shammy hasn't really effected my riding negatively at all.

I have been running lipos for awhile and most are traxxas lipos. One reason i like traxxas is because they dont play as many mind games. A lot of other companies will mess with the mah and the C rating. If you do your research, the capacity of the battery is a math equation and companies manipulate that to make you think you are getting something thats slightly different than the competitor or even their own. For example this battery is 6400 mah and rated at 25c, to find the amps you multiply 6.4 x 25 and it equals 160 amps. say another brand has a battery that is 3200 mah and 50C, take 3.2 x 50 and it equals 160 amps. So they both have the same capacity just different number arrangement. thats why i like traxxas because they rate ALL their lipos at 25c so there is no mind games, you have a set standard.

The other thing i like about their batteries is they seem to overall function as advertised and seem to be long lasting, and since i run all traxxas r/c cars, the batteries all fit perfect in them. The one thing i wish they were is hard cased. I live in a very rocky area and when i drive around i always get tons of small rocks that ride between the battery and the frame eventually causing a hole. One thing i have been doing that helps a lot on the wear factor is to buy some black silicone from permatex, and rub on a smooth layer on the bottom and partially up the sides of the batteries. This will help shock and wear holes.

Over all, these are good batteries and are worth the money.
