These will come in handy when the rains start. Only problem I had was the old (broken) ones were on with steel rivets which I had to drill out. the new ones come with plastic 2 piece snap rivets. One of which did not hold so I had to replace one with a small screw and nut. That's the only reason I went down one star so you know that you will have a tiny project to replace them. Otherwise quality is excellent, shipping was quick

Rox Speed FX Pivoting Handlebar Riser 2" Rise Chrome 4R-P2CC02 Review

This is an excellent product that works as advertised. Chrome and finish is great, and allowed me to move my bars up and back for a much more comfortable ride. On my bike (Yamaha Raider), I moved my brake and clutch lines from in front of bars to behind the bars to accomodate the two inch risers. This required disconnecting the lines from the hydraulic cylinders at the bars then bleeding both systems when finished. Total time was about an hour or less. I'm Very satisfied.

Received this tube the other day to replace an aging, leaky one on my trainer. I read the reviews and decided to gamble on it working out. If you're reading this, know that the previous low ratings were well warranted. I put it on my bike, inflated it and left the wheel alone while I washed up. In the time it took me to wash my hands, the tube ruptured and deflated. Upon removal, I found a large tear in the back. There was also a thin spot very near it which bulged when partially inflated. A pair of self adhesive patches seems to have taken care of it but I'll be buying another tube to replace it. Lucky for me it was for a stationary bike or else I'd have been stranded. If you're looking for a spare tube on the road, don't trust these!

Sunlite QRS Commuter Trunk Bag Review

This bag is small, light, durable, and easy to clip on with Sunlite racks. For some time, my husband and I had only one car. Some days I had to resort using my road bike to commute to my two jobs. I tried commuting with a backpack and that just ended up in back pain, especially with race handlebars. I wanted something light that I could easily attach to my frame and take off. I didn't want to ride with a group and have a carrier attached to the bike! Being a woman, I also wanted something stylish. Therefore, I started looking at bags first and then carriers. I did a ton a research and finally settled on this bag (then I bought the suspended carrier). Boy, am I happy biker! The bag is perfect!

One thing that I had trouble with, was figuring out the amount of items it could hold (cubic inches did not give me a great visual). I had to do endless research to make sure it was enough. To help you avoid the trouble, this what I fit into the bag..... The interior space can hold a set of flat shoes or cycling shoes (US size 8), medium sized leggings or thin pants, a medium sized top, and a thin rain jacket. Under the top cover of the bag, there is a mesh zippered bag. I carry jewelry in a plastic ziploc to protect the mesh. When the bag is closed the top pocket, under the bungee cords, I placed my makeup and mini toiletries. In the bungee cord, the shoulder strap that comes with the bag (while riding) or my helmet (when at work). In the grey bags on the side (mine are black with a grey strip at the zipper), my tools for emergencies (tube patches, extra tube, multipurpose tool, tire wrench, etc.) and a small energy bar. The small back pocket with the grey strip, my phone, id, and keys. THAT'S IT!!! Small bag - but it can definitely hold a bunch of items and still be light.

SockGuy Women's 2in Jellyfish Cycling/Running Socks (Jellyfish - S/M) Review

These are just really cute socks. Purples, aqua, hot pink, yellow, green. They fit my size 8 - 8 1/2 shoe size well. Not too tight or short but could be a tad longer. I like the 1/4 ankle length (2") and companies seem to like making the 1" length better so I'm glad to find these. The quality of SockGuy socks has gotten better lately. Hope they and others will make more cute 2" women's socks :)

Fyxation Session 700 Orange Dual Comp 28c Folding Review

I ride a junker through the winter in Chicago and I've had some adventures finding the right tire to make it through the moderate-to-awful conditions you can find on the road on any given day. With fenders on there's not enough clearance for studded tires so I've been looking for something with tread that will still roll for a couple of winters now. I started with some cross tires, switched to kevlar-lined armadillos, and decided to try the fyxation 23's this winter. So far I've been impressed with them to the point that I think I've found the tire I'm sticking with.

I'm not doing any skidding so the tread has held up great, and the 23s are skinny enough to slice through any slush or snow that's still on the road. It's been two months, the last of it with plenty of snow to get through, and I feel like these tires can handle anything the conditions have to offer. If you're in a similar situation and want something that will get the job done these are your answer.

I have used this jacket several times when faced with those light, but steady showers. Fits good, so it does not feel like a sail. Lightweight. Packs very nicely in the pouch provided and easily fits in jersey pocket.

Not 100% waterproof, didn't expoect it to be. If it is a downpour I just don't ride.

Could use in colder weather with right layers, but it offers minimal insulation or warmth on its own.

Best light weight, cool-to-warm weather jacket I have owned.
