I bought these to replace a 10 speed French racing bike and it is amazing. IT only has 5 gears instead of 6 but it still works very nicely. I was expecting to buy new cables for it but the cables already came with the shifters. I was very amazed that it did. The racing bike shifts a lot better. On some cases where the clamp circle goes around the handlebars, you know where there supposed to be, you might need to take some duct tape and put it around the bike so when you clamp the shifters they will be firmly on there because it will grip really well on a duct tape surface. Overall would buy again, and great shifters.
