I commuted about 1000 miles with one of these on the rear over the last year and only received one flat, while my front tire, another make entirely, received eight. The ride is a little bit harsh, and it's kind of heavy, so I gave it four stars. But I've tried several other commuting tires over the years (Specialized, Continental, Serfas, Michelin) and this one was my favorite of the bunch, having what I felt was the best compromise of road feel to flat protection.
