CREE XML XM-L T6 LED Bike Bicycle Light HeadLight HeadLamp 1200LM Blue Review

Used the light for the first time tonight and it worked great. The helmet mount sucks and isn't usable at all with a helmet. It'll work fine on a bare head, but not with a bicycle helmet at all. The handlebar mount tends to move a bit over rough terrain, but isn't too bad.

The beam is very bright (nowhere near 1200 lumens though, more like 600-700), but mainly in the center beam. The haloing is not very bright, so it's hard to see much aside from the spot beam.

The strap buckle on the battery case pulled off the first time I tried to strap it to my bike, so it's useless to try to attach to the bike now.

TL;DR Good light cheaply made. Who knows how long it'll last. For under $30, you can't go wrong though.
