Someone had recently attempted to steal my bike. The people who were dumb enough to break off my ignition on my bike forgot to look at the rear disc brake lock that was engaged which prevented the wheel from moving. So with that said, I decided to purchase this lock and chain combination as a deterrent to keep the honest people honest and the potential thieves at bay or at least informed of what they're up against so they move onto the next bike/object. So far it has worked well. The chain is very strong and weighs around 20 pounds so rest assured no ones going to be able to break this chain without someone noticing. The pad lock is very strong and comes with additional keys. If you buy this product be very sure to keep these keys in a safe place.

Pros: Very sturdy and less vulnerable to most common attacks. Comes with a manufacturer guarantee which covers theft of up to $4,000.
