Replaced a much more expensive set of Challenge Triathlon tires with these plain Pasela 700x25s. Are they as fast as the Triathlons? I don't think so, probably because the Pasela is 1mm wider, the tread is thicker and it has a slightly less smooth tread pattern. But the speed of the Triathlons came at a price, that being only about 1200 miles of tread life. I expect that the thicker tread on the Paselas will give me significantly longer tread life. The Paselas roll as well as any other tire I've ever had, the sidewalls feel just as supple as the Triathlons and the decrease in speed wasn't that significant, maybe 1/2 a mph on average. The Paselas seem better at absorbing bumps than the Triathlons and they cornered pretty well when inflated to 105 lbs (the sidewall said "Inflate to 115 lbs").
