First item of note: that the silly logo'd waist band was not (thankfully) on the pair i received. Regardless i was willing to give them a try. What I found is that these shorts are REALLY comfortable and compress your muscles very well! I ran for 5 miles without having to adjust or anything. But before you hit "buy now" there is one other important thing to know: these shorts are basically see through! The fabric is weaved in a fashion that you can see skin through them and so you MUST wear something on top of them or face a potentially unsavory appearance especially from behind. I bought these the same time i bought some Under Armour ones for $10 more. The UA ones do not compress at all in the same way and they did not have a crotch panel like this pair did and were generally less comfortable. So from that perspective these shorts are preferable to me. However, i can wear the UA pair without shorts on top and not fear getting arrested at the gym. Perhaps my recommendation is you buy one of each... as i did.
