I was looking for a moderately priced bar to replace the not especially comfortable "deep drop" bars on an older bike. The sharp bends in this bar leave a lot of real-estate on the tops, a gradual transition to the hoods, and (in my not-so-limber case) much more accessible drops than the traditional shape.
