New front tire seated the third time (likely operator error) -- The trick is to follow the mounting instructions to the letter and don't waste time or money buying Slime...soapy water works fine. Recently finished a 40 mile enduro ride and a motocross race this weekend -- absolutely NO issues with the new tubes and I can now run minimum air pressure (aka traction!)

P.S. Buy a decent size road bike manual air pump, my 135lb electric pump struggled to fill the core to 110 lbs -- the manual pump takes 30 seconds to top off a partially filled high pressure core.
