In the interest of full disclosure, I should say that I have had these bags for less than 2 weeks. I was hesitant about buying them because of the price. However, I have no regrets. The bags are not so big that they might cause problems when I have to put the bicycle on the front rack of a bus. They stay on very securely even when I hit a sharp bump in the road (those who have ever been in Durham, NC know what I am talking about). I can get these on and off very quickly, and the shoulder strap is nice to have on campus when I have parked the bicycle. I have tested the bags in a heavy downpour, and they are fully waterproof. My only complaint is that there should be a small pocket inside them for things I might need to get to quickly, but there are easy and cheap solutions to that problem.
