Diamondback BMX Softee Brake Pads Regular Review

I have been using common black compound v-brake pads for years. I like these very much. They have thick pads, and not too long, very easy to align with the rims. They have a lot of stopping power and DO NOT SQUEAL! For $2.50, even if they wear out faster than standard pads they will be a great deal, but they stop so quickly and with a light touch, that I doubt wear will be an issue. They look really good with any paint scheme, too. I bought half a dozen sets, figured I'd put them on kid's bikes if they weren't good enough for "pro" bikes, but I am impressed. I expect these will work better on steel rims than the hard black ones, too. I'm using common aluminum rims now.
