Jandd Sling n Pack Frame Bag Review

I've had one of these on my mountain bike for the past 22 years and I love it! It works great as a sling for carrying your bike on your shoulder whenever you can't ride it. As a pack, it has a small compartment that fills the area within the 3 sides, plus a tiny pocket on the outside. For me, these are perfect. In the tiny pocket, I have always carried Allen wrenches (2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm), a 10mm box wrench that I cut short, and a micro-patch kit made by Park Tools. This tiny pocket is too small for my car/house keys, so I toss those in the larger compartment. I used to keep a spare tube in the larger compartment too. This compartment is NOT large enough to safely fit a pair of glasses... not without tweaking them. And a Blackberry probably wouldn't fit real well either. A small cell phone would fit okay, but you'd want to wrap it in something so it doesn't get scratched up by the aluminum brace (which is exposed on the inside). So if you have a conventional frame bike which you occasionally (or frequently) need to carry, and you need a place for a few other small items, then this is for you. I bought a cheaper one before this one, and the plastic brace inside broke within a week. Then I bought the Jandd, which has an aluminum brace and much better overall construction, and it's served me well for 22 years and counting! For its intended purpose, you can't beat this little sling/pack thing!
